Codone withdrawal 4 10mg/day

I have a question for anyone who knows about hydrocodone addiction. Ive taken about 100(give or take 5 pills) of  10mg codone over the last 55 days. I take about 4 per day, sometimes 5. I was wondering if this will be enough to cause withdrawal symptoms when i stop taking them. I dont take 4 every single day. What i usually do is take about 4 a day until i go through about 16 pills. Then i would abstain for 3-4 days. Basically i would go through one week cycles of 4 days on 3 days off. i sometimes took 4 or 5 days off, and rarerly took pills for 5 or 6 days in a row. Here are my last seven days, I took 2 monday, 0 tuesday, 0 wednesday,0 thursday, 3 friday, 3 saturday, 0 sunday, 4 monday, 2 tuesday, 4 wednesday, 4 today(thursday), my last 2 pills tommorow, then i am stopping. Also please note that i take 2 at 8am, and 2 after lunch, never any at night. Do any of you think that i will experience withdrawls, even mild symptoms.

Here is what i can tell you currently when i took off the 3 days last week and previous weeks. I didnt experience any flu like symptoms, but i did have trouble sleeping on tuesday. I didnt sweat or have nightmares, the sleep could have been due to the fact that i was in a hotel out of town, and my room was uncomfortable and didnt have a fan ( i dont take pills at night so i dont rely on them to fall asleep). Whenever i stop taking them, i always have 0 energy for about 3 or 4 days. Usually i cant sleep past 9am on the weekends. But when i quit taking pills i could sleep to 12 without even waking once. I fall asleep around 12am to 1am every single night.

Do you think i will have any serious symptoms that will affect my daily life when i stop taking them after friday (tommorow)

It sounds like you are determined and know what you want. Thats great and make sure to keep that up front in your mind. You are not too far in so it will be really good to stop this now. My best advice at this point would be to not let the guilt you are feeling about the money eat at you. Addiction like these feed off of that stuff. So forgive yourself now, forget about it and move on. It sounds like you have many good things to look forward to in your life. And don't worry too much about the withdrawals, like i said, if you have stopped for three days before, then you have already pretty much felt the worst of it. At the very most, im sure, you could blame a mild case of the flu for a week or so if you needed to, but i doubt it will even feel that bad. Just make sure to get some counseling for yourself so that you dont ever find yourself in this situation again. I wish you the best of luck and we are here to support you know matter what happens. God Bless..... Jacky

Yes, i plan to stop for good, here is my situation. I recently got a new job, a much better one. With my new job came much more money. Pain pills became a 60$ a week habbit when i got my new job about 2 months ago, which i can more than easily afford, it hardly dents my paycheck. I used to buy them here and there 4 or 5 at a time.  I would buy them once every week or 2 when i was only making 10$/hours. I now make about tripple that (my college degree finally got me where i want to be, at a 9-5 salary job with benefits.) This new job became a blessing and a curse, becuase i began buy 15 or so at a time at a minimum of once a week. ive spent over 500 dallrs on pain pills over the last 50 days. Thats 10 bucks a day. I have much more important things to spend money on. Like planning for marriage with my girlfriend of 3 years. The good thing is im strong willed, and i purposely dont take them for periods of 3 to 4 days to avoid having it become a serious addiction. I also dont feel overpowered by a feeling that i have to have them when im not taking them. Yes i thouroghly enjoy them, but i can do without them. So friday will be my last day, I feel more guilty about the money than actually taking drugs, because i dont overly abuse them. I feel guilty because my girlfriend does not know at all. Instead of blowing 5 or 6 hundred bucks on drugs, I could have gone to a nice dinner 5 times, bought her clothes, more gifts ect. I just feel so guilty about the money because i keep telling her now that i have this new job saving it is so easy to save money, which it is, but little does she know while im saving over 1 grand a month, im pissing away another 250 on drugs at the same time, that could be money saved for us.

Yes,I think you'll have typical withdrawals;not serious though. Are you planning to stop for good?  I hope so.

I think if you have already gone three days before without them then you have already felt the worst of what you will feel when you totally stop as days 2,3,and 4 are often the worst for most. You will be fine. Your symptoms should not become any greater than what you have already felt in the past when stopping. Best of luck to you and you can post here anytime and will give you support whenever you need it.
