Day 2 and Miserable

Well today is Day 2 of being 100% off of the Hydro's and I have to tell you, I have feel like complete and total hell!!! My stomach is SO upset. Everytime I eat, even just a couple bits of something light, it's like my body rejects it and I can't stay out of the bathroom until my body is empty. I am making sure to sip water so I don't get dehydrated and I'm taking a multivitamin and Gingeroot capsules (1 four times daily) because it's supposed to help with digestion and nausea but honestly, it's not helping me. I bought some Immodium (liquid) and am getting ready to take it and hopefully it helps some. How long does the not being able to eat and upset stomach last? I'm not giving up but I really need some encouragement that I'm closer to things looking up a little. I'm really trying but I just feel so bad and unmotivated today.

I'm on day one. I'm starting to feel my stomach feeling rough. I have to go to work on Monday, and this is going to get interesting I can tell. I hope there is something I can do for the upset stomach. I haven't had the diareaha yet, but everyone says it comes along too. Right now I just fell weak, disorientated, and really sad about what this rotten drug has cost me in my life. Hang in there. WE can do this!

I am on day 8 if being clean from Lortab 10's and the stomach got better at day 5.  The Imodium is wonderful and keep using it if you have to the next couple of days.  Banadryl is how I get to sleep at night.  Everyone on here told me to use the Thomas Detox and amino acids and they do work well.  Great job getting this far and hang in there it does get better!

Take the immodium,it will help a lot.For most of us it takes about 5-8 days when comming off of pills. Not everyday is as bad as the last, each day it gets easier. It's the first few days that are the roughest for all of us.Eating can be a problem at first, but you do need the nutrients.Try some ensure or boost, they come in all kinds of flavors, and seem to be a bit easier to keep down.Make sure to stay hydrated with plenty of water or gatorade, stay away from caffeine.I think once you take the immodium you will feel a little relief.Hang in there 2 days is great.YOU CAN DO THIS..........Peace..........Kim

You are not alone.  Remember that.  I am on Day 11 and my stomach is still bothering me.  I feel much much better though.  All I can tell you is that it gets better.  Everyday will be a better day.  I am just getting my energy back (somewhat)!  Keep up to good work!  I will be thinking of you.
