My eyes just open I am here at work and I think it's but I am my home stretch of day 3 and I realize what an a#$hole I was to my family I didn't even want them around since I found u guys maybe it was god I don't know and I told my girl I feel so much better now and that my eyes are open and I c I have done man do I have the best family in the world I won't ever take them down this road again u guys do help a lot and I was able to stop just with the from here and my home life.          Thank u guys vary much I can't thank u enough

Congrats to you.  You are not cured you are just beginning.  It is a long road and you have taken a huge step.  Try going to meetings to find others just like yourself, work a program, and stay clean and sober. Keep checking in here and let us know how you are doing.

You are doing great!  My eyes didn't open until the end of week 2.  It was like someone turned on the lights in my head for the first time in years.  While I was high all the time, I didn't realize that life was still going on around me and I was missing it.  Keep moving forward & don't look back!
