How long does it take?

Well I am hapy to say i am closing in on Day 12..."hurray" I do feel better everyday, still have those darn cramps in my feet at night and tightness in my jaw.  I do however thnk it's better.  My question is how long do you think i should expect to continue with these minor physical issues?  I feel like a whiner when i read the posts of those who are struggling with the much earlier stages.

To review I took Vic 7.5 for over 2 years at 4 - 6 per day then occasionally sneaking an extra 1-2 if I need a little pop.. I new when i was doing it it was stupid....but i always felt like i would deal with it later... Those who are afriad of the WD's I understand, but stay on this board and stay in touch with compassionate, caring people, I know that I intend to stay involved just on the chance that I could someday help somebody with thier problem the way this site has helped me.

Thanks to all of those who have encourage me.

Jambo

Congrats on 12 days, that is great and the worst physical should be over now. It is a process and your best friend is time. It seems around a month the biggest and best changes start to happen, but at this point it will get better each day. great job:)

Congratulations Jambo---  Well done ---  You are another testimony to the fact that it can be done --- I hope you will return to the site from time to time and offer encouragement to others who are struggling.   Yes, you are near the end of the painful physical part --- from here on  you should notice a big change for the better.  You have paid the price for your freedom -- some real suffering - but I know you will concur that it was worth the effort.  I wish you all the best and a very Merry Christmas.
