WOO WOO!!!! Been clean from methadone for three years and two months.

I haven't been on this sight in quite awhile. A lot has happened in three years. I had underlying issues which is why i took opiates and ended up at the methadone clinic for eight months. Well i was diagnosed bipolar and take medication. Also along my three year journey I had severe anxiety. I was put on klonipin but decided I didnt want to get addicted and stopped after a short period. No withdrawals. For all the people that are going through methadone withdrawal it can be done. I'm a average Joe and I did it. My experience with methadone and the three month withdrawal reminded me of why I didnt want to ever be addicted again. I did smoke marijuana through my three year journey but I have stopped. I want to keep bettering myself and improve. Drugs, even marijuana can bring you down. Now I work out, feel physically well. I went from a overweight junkie to a slimmer, sober me!!!!!! Yes, its hard to detox but just stick it out and over time things will mellow and get better. For all of you suffering methadone withdrawal my prayers and thoughts go out to all of you. Happy New Year!!!!!!
