So a W/D, Tapering question

So i am tapering down on oxy.  now i am only taking 2 perks every 6 hours which is pretty good because i was taking like 100 plus mg a day.  now 2 hours after i take the perks i am feeling really ****** and really feeling the wd.  this is like day 5 i think.  so my main question is,  the more wd symptoms i feel now while i am tapering down will that mean the less wd symptoms i will have when i am completly done my tapering?  i still have another week and a half of tapering untill i get down to 2 perks a day.  so what do you guys think.  is it still gunna be a terrible time once i am done or will it not be as bad.  thanks guys

I can't say that it won't work, I just don't think that it will make that much of a difference with the withdrawal. If you are feeling the withdrawal only two hours after taking the meds, then your body is screaming at you.

Also, the symptoms you are experiencing may be due to the way in which you are tapering. Two pills every 6 hours is just spiking your dose and your body is going through periods of up and down. If you could take those pils and spread them out over the 6 hour period, then you would stabilize your body better. Understand?

No hun, you are feeling the withdrawal and will continue to feel them, the way you are tapering, it will not make a difference. Just a suggestion, get the cold turkey done because you are killing yourself at this point, and it is going to happen anyway.

2 percs a day is pretty low...way good 4 u!  I jumped off when I hit no more than 3 pills a day and went back to work the following day.  Why?  I realized I could easily go 8 hours without anything so said, ok, here we go....

What happened after stopping?  Some lite wd, took exedrin during the day and started execising on the 3rd day.  that helped with eating, drinking and more...

I still have to watch my hydration after almost 2 weeks off but i think it's getting better...

yah i would way rather taper.  i can feel the wds but i know they are not as bad as ct. i know that for sure.  but i just dont know what to expect once i am done.  even doing 2 perks a day just sounds like crazy talk haha.  but yah i have had pretty good will power so far so i am happy about that.

I'm in the process of figuring that out...  Yesterday I threw up and had to take vic because I couldnt handel it.  And today this morning I s*** my pants and had to take some.  I did some tampering this week and thought it would help but I think I'm just going to try and tough it out and see how it goes. I feel like my worst withdrawel fear is already happening....  However, I'm not sure if my symptoms (vomiting) are common???  I hope this helps.

Hey There..

Yes....u will feel the wd each time u taper and  your body gets used to the dose; I finished a 3.5 week taper and have been off for 13 now.  In the past, I went ct and that totally suked because at day 13, i was till feeling pretty ill...since i tapered, i've been exercising, eating well, layin pipe, surfin, etc....

For me...taper was very good & if u have the willpower, recommend that solution over ct anyday,

Peace,

Nick
