Correction...my parents did NOT give me the same options as going into detox.
Also wanted to add, this is just my story, and opinions. There are MANY here that have SO much more courage, strength and hope to offer.

For me, It was just do it. Kick it.
My first round, I was put into inpatient detox and they kept me there til the "physical" WDs were passed. I didn't feel a thing. Well....not "feeling a thing" made it much easier to go out and get back hooked after seeing how simple and painless it was to go in for 2-3 days, get some patches up on you, pills down your throat and sleep. My parents did give me the option as they did the first time. So I kick at home. I know what you are going through, I am coming off a 2 yr clean relaspe and I am on day 5 kickin it.
So personally, I would just say, do it. Sit back and hold on tight for a few days and then it passes. As IBK said there are some OTC products to help. Hylands Restless legs is amazing! Good luck and stay strong! You can do this....WE can do this together.

Seriously there's no way...unless you get into a program and start getting subuxone...sorry its hard any ways you look at it cuz when you get weined off of the subuxone it'll still be very hard, but not as bad at all..

Going through withdrawal, or getting sick as you call it, is hard to avoid. The severity will depend on how much you are taking and for how long. Also your age and physical condition will factor in.
