think about seeing a NATURAL, HOMEOPATHIC doctor...........they will be able to tell you if its liked to a chemical imbalace due the hydro use...............i just got off of hydros, was on them for SIX freakin' years..........been on anti depressants for two years........was on hydros for chronic fibromyagia, back, surgery, lots of lethargy and low motivation. hydros made me high and not "feeling" depressed. made the depression worse though!!! went to the natural doc. right to get my body back in health harmony................wanted to know what supplements to take because hydros take a lot of your good stuff..ok ..... so.... i go see the natural doc. and she tests my iodine level.................simple right....... well i am so deficient (like 90%) that its causing my thyroid to NOT work,...............which causes....................chronic pain diseases, ............depression..........weight gain...........lethargy................low motivation.....and on and on and on...............which are all the things going on in my body.....so take it from me................it could be something so simple as iodine................TRIPPIN HU? best of luck to ya' and god speed.......................no pun intended............christina

you know i have no idea what concentration and grade of iodine my natural doc. used for my test.................i mean its not like the over the counter stuff you use on cuts and stuff.. but if you are at all suspicious of and iodine deficeincy get out your yellow pages and look for a natural doctor in your area...............give them a call and go from there..........thats what i did and im telling you what...................i have the sneaky suspision that i never needed anti depressants...pain killers.... skin creams.....mood stabilizers...........hey,.............im not saying go off of those things.........but now that im clean and can feel and know my body its like god is giving me all this devine guidance into my health.........

Do you know how you can test your iodine at home? My brother (who heals holistically) has been treated me via the phone while i have quit drugs. I am suspecting that the iodine may have something to do with this psoriasis thing i got going on since i quit 6 months ago. We have tried so many things already.

Thyroid problems seem to be very common amongst addicts. ND Drs are trained to solve the problems, not just treat symptoms. I highly recommend them. I also have found MDs that practice natural medicine, but they are harder to locate.
