Career Professional with Hydrocodone Addiction

Any help or words of advice and encouragement appreciated. Im a 37 yr old female that's been on Lortab 10/500 for a year now. Dose is 1 tab 3 times a daily. But over the past few months I've gotten up to 6-7 a day. I'm so ready to quit!!! I don't think I have the willpower to taper because if they're available I take them. So I just took my last dose and going to enjoy my last good night of sleep for awhile. I have restless legs anyways so that's the worst part I'm anticipating. I have a broken pelvic bone from an accident which us why I was 1st placed on hydros. Please bear with me the next few days/weeks as I'm sure I will need everyone's help. My family has no idea I'm taking hydros. So the withdrawals may be hard to explain. Thank you in advance

btw....I have 30 Lortab 10/500's that I want to start tapering with.

Hi and welcome. To the forum
I can tell you if your mind is not positive to go down this long road tapering is very difficult.
Most cannot do it.
If you are going to taper then, write down your taper and stick to it no matter what. It is the only way.
Look up the thomas recipe at the bottom of the page. It helps a lot.
Also if you have a doctor that will help with wd's meds big plus. Clonidine for rls. Works wonders.
Stay hydrated Gatorade and water.
There are a lot of knowledgeable people here that will help you get through this.
Keep posting ask questions.
Good luck.
