2weeks and the new Jaybird!

Good evening all, how is everyone?  I've started day 15 and feel like my old self again....finally!  Just posting an update and to see how everyone else is doing in their battle.  I'm still experiencing some thoughts here and there but for the most part I'm back to normal!  If you are new just hang in and fight cause the other side is beyond imagine!

Congrats on all the two week mark, you should be very proud!

I look at the posts of the people days ahead of me and it just gets me more and more inspired.  I'm done with the physical, and my mind is happy, but I am really looking forward to two weeks!

yep...the two week mark is when the miracles of "awakening" really happen (14 days for me).  I mean, the physical has been done for a week or so...but the mind takes another week to catch up.  Motivation, ambition, drive, love of the little things...everything is flying back and I am loving every minute of it.

ALARMS!!!  Yes, this is when I tend to say...I can handle just a few...but f*** that...I am not losing this feeling.

Keep fighting everyone...it truly is remarkable what regular life feels like!!

Woooo hooo 2 weeks for me too and life is good! Congrats to you, I am very proud of you! Keep up it up you have this thing beat.... Big huz, you should be very proud of yourself

Before my first detox I used for 1.5 years between 100-200mg of oxycodone a day.  I quit for 21 days and then used agaian for 1 month about the sakes amount maybe a little less!  Now I'm 15 days clean and don't plan on using again!!!

wow congrats!!! it really helps me to hear about those who have been through it and getting over the worst of it it gives me hope that i can do it to that it doesnt last forever and it will get better

Hi Jaybird!!!  I have been praying for you for 2 days. Really. My little guy with down syndrome too.  I got a good feeling that you are going to make it!  I'm glad.  Some thoughts huh?  Man I remember yelling one time to myself, because my thoughts were so many, SHUT UP!!   I'm still on my return trip to sanity ")
