Getting past those triggers (waking-up and 4 PM) are usually the most difficult times. Good luck and keep adding those clean days :-)
I am so happy for you. Huge achievement, honestly... I am with you all the way and if you need anything you buzz me. So proud of you, you are a queen and you deserve the finer thing in life. Now if I could just tell myself that. Thank you for being there for me you have no idea how much you mean to me, thank you
Thank you all for your support. Great ideas!
When we take something away.....it's important to replace it with something else. Otherwise we end up like Swiss cheese...full of holes...and easy to pull apart~
Find something really cool....something you like A LOT...and do THAT at 4pm....turn the bitter into something sweet! You're doing great~
Triggers and rituals scare me. They creep up on us out of nowhere and BAM intense cravings! It was just one day, tomorrow will be better, or maybe not. Bottom line, keep walking through it clean. GREAt job on 2 weeks!!
Hi Quiet, congrats on your clean time, and for making it through work. I agree with Rosy, change the 4pm routine. Have a snack, a piece of chocolate (dark chocolate really helped me fight cravings), just do something to take your mind in a different direction. Keep fighting every day! One foot in front of the other. Keep posting. Best wishes!
First let me say how proud I am of you! Ive been following your story and I see the strength and determination you have.
The mind, ESPECIALLY the addict mind is a tricky devil!! You have to watch out and don't buy into the lies that your addict brain will tell you.. If possible, maybe try and switch up your routine a little bit. Make 4pm about something else:) know what I mean?
Stay strong and stick close to the forum..we are here to help you through!
I'm rooting for you and you CAN do this!! Just take it one choice at a time.
