The way she reacts when you take them away sure sounds like addictive behavior to me. They are basically her life right now. It is a combination durg containing acetominophen, a barbituate, and caffiene. The barbituate is the one you need to worry about stopping CT. I agree w/avisg if you can't be w/her all the time then at least only give her like 5 a day. You do have options, but if she doesn't want to quit, it will be tough. You can do an 'intervention' if you will. sit her down, tell her how concerned you are, and inform her what she is doing w/ the pills (selling) is illegal. If she doesn't stop, you'll report her actions to authorities. That might be the wake up she needs. Does she have DUIs from the car accidents? She shouldn't be driving!!! if it continues, she liable to kill herself or someone else.
She is going to need to see a doctor to help get off of them ...DO NOT TAKE THE PILLS AWAY unless you are giving them to her. It is very dangerous life threatening to go cold turkey off of them .If she is getting 180 every 10 days she is most likely taking more then 20 a day .If she gets in to a doctor and they can set up a taper plan for her to get off of the meds it would be a very big help if one of you could hold the meds and dispense them to her .That would be great .She can get better you just have to be very carful going off of them.
