Would like to thank you all

Hi all,  I started posting here a few weeks ago I think due to my addiction to oxy/percs.  I've slowly been tapering which is so far working for me and seems like my chronic pain has not gotten worse from lowering my dose which gives me hope that I will soon be off.  I don't post often... I do offer my support now and then as I don't have much advice yet to give.  I know that I'm so friggen happy that I found this site while searching.  I've had a few of you respond to my posts and some have sent me notes or pm's.  Thank you.  It's all been very supportive and you are all a great bunch of people who welcome newcomers with open arms.

anyhow, I'm off to the dentist later to finish off a root canal :(  Going to try my best to stick to my 10mg 4times per day of oxy and not ask him for percocet as I'm finally done with that one....just really hope its not to painful today and I'm able to go to my daughter's Christmas concert tonite.

Hope you are all doing okay :) hugs :)

Advil or ibuprofen is one of the best pain relievers in dental pain and can be combined with opiates if you do not have ulcers.Usual advil dose for dental pain is 600mg every 4 hours for a couple of days, then the dose should be decreased to 400 mg every 4 hours.
