If at all possible, you should not CT off Neurontin as it has seizure risk.  I took the same amount at around that dosage for about 6 months.  I did not like the way it made me feel, sort of foggy and gave me trouble with word finding and some memory issues. IT did help some with my nerve pain.  I asked to come off it and can't remember exactly the taper, which we can't post anyway, but it didn't take long and I didn't have any withdrawals or problems with it.

they say neurontin isent a controlled substance but i think it is. i should know, im a recovering addict. i decided to wean myself off.

800mg of what I'm really gonna hope this is not a narcotic or to be completely honest and blunt If it is a Narcotic the dr prescribing it needs to be "strung up" as we say down south here
