advil vs. aleve??

What's the difference between Advil vs tylenol vs aleve?
I've been having brutal pain (on a scale of 1-10, 10 being dying it's like an 8-9)
I have a 4mm muscle tear on my side stomach muscle from a car accident.
I was told ab muscles can take months n months to heal so I'm really worried, it's affecting my work, my child (it's hard to pick her up) sneezing, coughing hurts etc
Anyways, I've been taking Advil 2 every 4 hrs. Today I bought some aleve n my gosh it's amazing. It worked soooo much better fir me.   Took my pain to about a 3-4 and lasted about 6 hrs.
And what's the max you can take a day?

Aleve and Advil are both considered NsAIDs and both help with pain and inflammation.  I can't remember the numbers on what not to exceed.  Both need to be taken with food and if you take regularly, your doctor will tell you what to take to protect your stomach, some are OTC and others are prescription (I take prescription strength Prilosec.)

Tylenol works on pain but not inflammation.  It is easier on your stomach except for weirdo me ... it gives me terrible nausea.)   There have been some changes recently in what is considered a safe dose and it's been lowered.  Tylenol is in a lot of products and itmcan be easy to take too much if you don't read the labels.  (Several years ago a young woman in her early twenties died if liver failure.  She had been sick and was taking Tylenol and also taking a cough/cold remedy that had Tylenol in it.  She wound up i liver failure and died.)

Aleve is nice since you take fewer pills but it didn't work well for me on pain.

I only bought a sample pack from the gas station lol so it didn't say, but I'll find out when I buy a big bottle

It should say somewhere on the bottle to not exceed X number of tablets per day. I agree! Alec's is amazing! Naproxen sodium is an anti inflammatory and I feel it works much better for like body pain than Advil. But I feel Advil does better for headaches. That's just me though
