breaking the cycle

hello all you good addicts. it hurts my heart what we do to ourselves. there is so much pain poured out on this site each day and night. i truly want to turn my life around forever. i want to feel it all, good,bad, all of it. i want to remember. i want to learn. i want to teach. i want anything i do to be open for the world to see if it chooses to look and not to have secrets to hide. lies to struggle to remember. i was never as good at it as i thought i was anyway. i already have a master's degree in suffering. no more refresher courses required. this cycle must end. it's no way to live. today i choose to live differently. only then can i experience the true flavors of life and love. i pray for all of us that we can find a better way and then keep it. blessed be.   sway

Yes it is time to break our cycle of self destruction...it gives me hope to read the posts of people who made it,, and it hurts my heart to read of those who are struggling,, to each and every one of us it's a different journey, but there are a lot of similarities,, keep posting i think it makes you stronger each time :)

The freedom in that alone can make you soar... through the pain is triumph the strength of the human spirit is strong.. I have noticed a big change in you this time and your have come too far now to go back. Your on the right path and it takes time to heal and fix the damage we have done, I always say recovery is a process with baby steps. Although there is pain on here, there are also many victories and proof life is better without drugs. I like your posts sway, your kicking some ***, hehe.

You got it girl, Today, you chose to live differently. It is YOUR choice. Yes there's a lot of misery on here but there's a lot of success stories too. It depends how you look at it.
