Not to scare you or him, but you should know what he's up against:
this is some info from the site -
However, many people experience no symptoms early after an acetaminophen overdose. In the next 24 to 72 hours, the early symptoms start to go away, but liver damage starts to occur. The first symptom of liver damage is usually upper right abdominal pain or tenderness (near the liver), and a healthcare provider may notice that the liver is enlarged. After this, liver failure may occur, causing symptoms such as:
* Yellow eyes and skin
* Dark urine
* Confusion
* Low blood sugar (hypoglycemia)
* Bleeding
* Nausea and vomiting.
Some people also experience kidney failure or heart problems. Death may occur, usually as the result of swelling in the brain, infections, or multiple organ failure.
Yes, Mr Lucky told you right -- He is in grave danger of destroying his liver. Very serious indeed. He needs to see a doctor to run liver enzymes tests to see how much damage has already occurred. Hope he will listen to you -- this is very serious and potentially fatal. Wish you the best in getting him help.
either way, his biggest problem is probably his liver from all the tylenol. That is much more serious than the codeine!
Or do you mean he takes total of 30 pills spread out 4-5 times per day?
Are you saying he takes almost 150 pills per day?
