Thank you again Jimi, Wow 14 yrs. clean, that's awesome! And what a noble vocation. You are an "earth angel". You do give me hope my boy. I will admit that I'm feeling a lot better. My major issues now are the depression that immobilizes me. I'm 105lbs. and I feel like I'm carrying 200lbs. of dirty laundry on my head. So hard to move sometimes. But yesterday I started to get waves of energy, albeit fleeting I did see glimpses of my real self. I will today start on a detox program. Hey Jimi, we are exactly the same age. lol thank you again. God Bless and have a safe holiday weekend. :o} always grateful, Spider.
Hey Spider, it's All Good =0) I was on Vicodin from 1993 - 1999 at the back end of my addiction/dependency I was taking anywhere from 60 - 80 pills a day I am in the medical field and working as a Cardiac - Rehab specialist so I worked for three different Physicians at the time and the meds were very easy for me to get "not good" anyway in June of 1999 I administered myself into a hospital for detox I was upfront about my addiction. After 63 days of hell detoxing and not sleeping GOD taught me a very Valuable lesson InDeed. I've been clean for 14 yrs now and I work in Emergency Medicine as an NYS EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) and Lovin It =0) I'm 54 y/o now and plan on going back into the Paramedic program which is a 2 year associates degree. Enough about me, so you can do this!!!! Take some Milk Thistle extract as a prophylaxis for your Liver. Don't wait start right away on your detox remember you are Always in my <3 felt Prayers & Blessings. Stay Faithful, Strong, Determined, & Disciplined and by the Grace of GOD you will be clean sooner rather then later and Stay Clean "Life Is Good Clean" Amen
Prayers, Blessings, <3 and light. . . .

thank you for your prayers and blessings, very much appreciated. Mine ia a ridiculous addiction that started 25 years ago talking Tylenol 1's of all things! At my worst (which ultimately I always get to) I was taking about 70-80 a day. God what a loser. I'm not a kid either. So I have no idea how I'm still here and not dead from liver poisoning from acetominaphen. I have weaned myself off them many times but not for any great length of time. Why I am drawn back again and again I cannot figure out enough to stop it. My husband is kinda fed up to say the least so this time I need to do something different and I came across this wonderful site. Just reading keeps me from obsessing about myself. God I'm so friggin sick of the whole mess. Anyway I'm very grateful for any positve reinforcement. Thankyou
Hey Spider, I have experience with Codeine withdrawal back in 1992 I was taking Tylenol 4's for about a year, about 10 a day, I was able to stop Cold Turkey with not to much discomfort =0) it took me about 2 weeks I started to titrate (wean) off every 3 days I would take 2 less pills and after 2 - 3 weeks I was Codeine free and functioning well. A year later I relapsed and had a horrible Vicodin Dependency but that's another story for another time. I'm 14 yrs clean now. Like Dominosarah suggested consult you MD.
Prayers & Blessings

How much codeine are you taking? Please dont try and self medicate yourself with the AD med. That is something you need to discuss with your doctor.
