there are a lot of people that pay big bucks to getoff methadone in a softer ez way ...I wish I new one as I have said many times b/4 its not so much the withdrawal that makes methadone so hard to get off of but the post withdrawal....this is not an ez drug to break free from you can use short acting opiates to get past the initial withdrawal but its the next few months that they will not help with.....I do know a girl her nic was emwave she payed 18 grand to detox this way she also did her own research on the amino acids that help with recovery and did pritty well its been over a yr since I have herd from her......her idea was detox and move on with life like nothing ever happened I wished her well and we stoped messaging each other
they still use short acting opiates to detox people off methadone but like IB said darvasett has been off the market for a wile now hope your friend has good luck with this she/he is paying a pritty price for it tell them its all about aftercare to stay off getting clean is the ez part good luck and God bless......Gnarly
