I was struggling trying to jump cold turkey from a decent hydro addiction (LOL).  I was googling for help again and finally ran across this website.  It was a life saver.  I just want to thank each and everyone who has helped me or posted something to someone else that also helped me!  I am 25 days clean and hoping for at least one more day.  It is all I can ask for and all I want.  You have inspired me, made me cry and gave me hope.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!

One more day?  You are well on your way towards your first year!  If I could do it, you can do it with bells on!  
Actually, You've already done it, all you need to do now is keep on keeping on!  If you feel a hard day coming on, just come here and talk about it, or get out of the house and do something with the Family to get your mind off it.
And you should know what i preach all the time, Food!  (but good food) Either go shopping for a healthy feast, or go to a place that makes them for you!
Plus, you are allowed to cheat and have a treat of "bad stuff' on occasion as well.
But know that you have already quit, It's a done deal really. So go out and have an omega 3 fatty acid and Glutamine (lobster) night,  with a bit of extra glutamine (steak) on the side, and feel good about it!
(You will feel good after, trust me)

The best thing to do when you get in one of those "down" moods, is to go out and do something fun and enjoyable, plus make you feel better at the same time!

Now I've gone and made myself hungry, even though I'm half dead with the flu, LoL!
