day 3 .... cold turkey, 20 methadone or 30 oc30's a day

I am doing okay.  I am taking adderall and beta blockers.  No sleep, but not bad symptoms.  If you have amphetamines I would take just a little to relieve the pain and have a wave of optimism.

HI well im glad to here your not coming off the methadone it would be much worst but even that amount of oxy is usually pritty ruff....I know you say your not into anfedamines but watch out for cross addiction it is very ez to get sucked into another addiction when coming off narcotics many people here where never into benzo's and wound up addicted to them after narcotic withdrawals ...your lack of symptoms is unusual but no to withdrawals are the same so thank God for sparing you from some very painful symptoms ...you may want to look into some sort of aftercare it seams to be the deciding factor in staying clean once you get there good luck and God bless....Gnarly

Yes.  In November I went 17 days without .... so, maybe thats why I am feeling "ok."
I pray I am withdrawaing from the oxy.  I didn't take methadone more than maybe twuce a week.  Every day was one or the other.
my story: I was a writer in Hollywood.  Down there things are very easy to get.  I came up north and found them even easier to buy on the streets in San Francisco.  Literally and open market.  It started with a surgery over 10 years ago and slowly took over.  For various reasons, I couldn't take that long off of my life to feel normal so I would always relapse so I could take care of my life.  I did a lot of vitamins the last years ... I don't know.  this time feels like it's it and I have the time.  The adderall (amphetamines) help alot...and I don't have an addictive thing with them ... I don't like them at all.
What a suprising 10 years.

HI and welcome to the forum ...wow thats quit a habit you have going on there if you dont mind me asking witch of the 2 are you mainly withdrawing from the methadone or the oxy
?? if its the methadone it might not have really started its evil ways yet it has a long 1/2 life and you where on a pritty high dose it would still be lingering around in your system
ether way CODOS on day 3 and your symptoms only being minor hang in there lots of hot baths get outside when you can and walk ...I wish I had a answer for sleep but with methadone it is hard to come by you might just have to get by on catnaps for a wile
keep posting for support and mabe give us a little more detale on your story
