Hang in there with the nausea. I know I was very easily affected by motion sickness. I puked while seeing the movie Bourne Ultimatum, lol. Poor ushers :(
My doctor gave me something for the nausea and it worked well, can't remember what though... grrr
Hope the transition off of Sub is easy for you! Good luck to you :)
My dr is a naturopathic physician that works under my psychiatrist. The Tx she is doing for me is to ease or eliminate withdrawl from opiates. It includes vitamin/amino acid IV therapy, acupuncture, hydrotherapy, and she works on my knotted up back to take the pain away. I feel great right now just getting back from her! she did not have the supplies yet to start me on the IV therapy, so she did hydrotherapy, acupuncture and body work on my back and also my stomach as it has so much cramping in it right now. Its the psychiatrist that will help me with my suboxone, and i'll see him (and her) on thursday am. Right now i'm going to have one more day on this dose of sub and then start going down in the dose. The therapy is noted online at the websites i mentioned yesterday, but yes, it can also give you more energy if you don't need to go through withdrawl. I am on other meds, and i plan getting off of most of those with her help too. If you have any specific questions about any of it, you can send me a pm, worried, or anyone else, and i'd be MORE than happy to answer them and tell you anything i know- i'm VERY excited about it!
I still have the heavy eye thing, and nausea, although its not quite as bad today. And there are pressure pts to manipulate to help with the nausea. i just cant wait to be done with all of this!
Hope all goes well for you!! Keep us posted.
