loveJwhite going strong

Day 18 since I went cold turkey off my pretty heavy vicodin, morphine, dilaudid and oxy addiction of 3 years. Today is the best I have felt so far! The ups and downs are expected and I was getting pretty cynical there for a bit ie: the "I don't like myself without drugs" post. I went to an NA meeting tonight with an ex-coworker/friend...I think that is going to be something I'm looking forward to continuing. For those of you who have followed my story, you know my mom was on the verge of passing away-well she has miracuolusly taken a turn for the better and it looks like I'm gonna have my mama around a little while longer. Thank you for all the great support you all have unselfishly given. I'm ready to rock and roll and get to living life the way it is meant to be lived.....but I'm not leaving this forum...I am very comfortable here. You people got me through the withdrawals and continue to give encouragement. I might need encouragement on those off days.......kisses!  -Shay

The only thing that is frustrating me still, is I have zero appetite. I've lost 17 pounds in these past two and a half weeks. I'm already small....anyone else still not hungry?
