day 6 today clean because of all of you. i have my life back
Pat how are you doing today? Know that I'm thinking about you.
I went hunting yesterday with an old friend.
It was the best day of my life in so long.
Remembering old hunting and camping times.
In the woods through the snow. Yes it was very cold but it was so awesome.
I wanted to thank all of you. Pat, leaAnn, sarah, ibk, toothfairie, nolife, clean_in_ks, needinghelp, selfinduced.
Just to name a few. thank you all.
Going out again today. To smell the fresh air and see nature. Even if i freeze my ***** off.
It feels good.

Hi KM....you're posting on an older thread so maybe you want to post a new "question" so more people can see it.....there is tons of support here on this site....and good info.....i don't have experience with trams but some people on here do....so hang tight and maybe post a new question for help....it can be done...i've seen it here....just know you have my support and we will help you thru it! stay strong and be patient someone will come along soon.
I have been a tramadol addict for almost 4 years now. I have been up to taking 15-20 pills a day for the last couple years now. I have finally decided ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. I tried to start cold turkey, with my last pill being at 1 am on December 30th. I made it 19 hours before I failed that already and gave in. I don't think I am going to be able to go cold turkey because of how long I have been abusing the drug. Basically I am just looking for support and advice right now. I want to go cold turkey because I want this torture over as soon as possible but I think tapering is going to be the way I HAVE to go. I am sure everybody understand the hopelessness I feel right now...
No work for me. I sold both of my semi trucks, my trailer.
My motorcycle, my snow plow truck, my hot rod chevy truck. My beautiful 72 chevy monte carlo. My 71 gmc 1/2 shorty 4x4. It's all gone.
And it's was because i was hiding in my house. Not wanting to face the world. I didn't sell it all to buy pills. I had script for that.

Day 9 here...energy is somewhat back today. Hurray for small miracles at this point. Have a super busy day with work. It's better to get wore out doing something productive and fun and not needing a pill to tackle or recover from it now. :) Proud of you!!!

ROFLOL!! This thread brought a huge smile and warmth to my heart. Not, you have helped me stay strong by staying strong too!! I was going to go do some Christmas stuff with my daughter and grandson yesterday, but she called and said she wasn't feeling well and I wasn't either. I was going to push myself to get out and enjoy the day, but the crud took over and I got lazy. LOL! You sound amazing and I am truly thrilled for you. Life is good after pills! Any day with no pill is better than what we thought was our best day on them. :)

Congrats on your 6 days clean!! That is huge! I am happy to hear you are getting out and returning to the things you like to do. Nothing like a good days hunt! Hold your clean time sacred and do whatever it takes to stay that way, your life depends on it~
Day 12 and. Still brain fog . I decided when I got the flu 5 days ago to just get off everything so Wellbutrin goodbye , man when it rains it snows and I'm so happy to be clean it hurts . A good hurt . Days feel like forever like some chronic disease and the choice to during Xmas is crazy. Thank you for all the support u guys are funny to .

I don't have a song.......but I have a book. It's a potty training one that has a button at the end that you push, and it's a flush that sounds like a sonic BOOOOOOOM! I hid it from Maddie when I trained her. I'd rather change dirty diapers than listen to that! LOL

YES! Your back in life again. The days will get better and better from here on out. Your post made me wanna go out and build a giant ole snowman, then I remembered, RATS, I live in Fla. and it's 85 degrees right now :(. Can't tell you how happy and proud I am of you. Soon you'll be posting your 30 days clean!
