yup, I mean't for the better. The anxiety settled, the headache calmed, the runny nose stopped, the sneezing and coughing stopped as well as bathroom issues. My energy and sleep were slow to return but the reprieve from all the other symptoms gave me the incentive to keep moving on. Keep posting for encouragement. Make the commitment NO MATTER WHAT to get to 30 days. You'll feel such a great improvement in your world you will want the good to continue. Strength to you.

I havent had no issues sleeping really but maybe its because I take like a quarter of a xanax before I do laydown. I swear I am never doing his to myself again. I think so far this is the worst day. I am going to wait until Thursday night if I still have fever then yes I will go to the Dr. What do you mean you had a Major turn around? for the worse or for the better? - thanks for all he support I could really use it.

Hang in there my dear.I had a MAJOR turn around on day 9. Take some advil for the aches. Sounds like you got some sleep (?) which is GREAT. Hey, if you continue with the fever you may need to go to Dr. Have some toast this am and maybe a lil chicken soup in a bit. Treat yourself gentle for the next few days. YOUR DOING VERY WELL. Fight, fight!

Never did subs either, but for me w/d from opiates always started with yawning, eyes tearing and sneezing. It was always 3 sneezes together. Constant and relentless! It was the only symptom of detox that lasted till the eighth month. I have been told God bless you so many times I'm sure I've got a parking space in heaven!
All the toxins are coming out of your body. You can expect nasal drip,  sore throat, body aches, chills, sweats, fever and diarrhea.  Let it happen.  Drink tons of water and hang in there!

Hi, cold/flu like symptoms are all withdrawal symptoms of coming off drugs.
The symptoms mimic a flu.
People tell themselves they have the flu, to make them feel like their not withdrawaling, it does help a lot of people mentally.
It should last a week or 2.
Try plenty of vitamin C, but dont go overboard with it : )

Hey Miss Miami, I don't have any experience with sub w/d but I swore I had a massive sinus/cold infection during detox of opiates. Looking back I believe it was just plain ole detox. My throat/head/ and sinus area hurt beyond belief. Give it a few more days and if it continues or you start running a fever it's time to go to Dr. to get treated. There is a tea called "throat coat" by Traditional Medicinals that is amazing. Try that with a warm soak in the tub and see if it helps. Congrats on day 6, thats really great.
