doctor looking at my nose please help asap

i hae been in the suboxone program for about 8 months and i was in the program only a month before i started snorting my meds not to get high or to feel it faster but because i miss the drain of it and i went from doing it every day 4 or 5 times a day to doing it once every couple of days 1 time a day and i just found out that my doctor has started something new he will be calling me in within the next week to check my arms to see if i have been shoting it up but i have never ever done that and he will also be sticking a light up my nose to see if i have been snorting my meds and they say that even if my nose is clean that there is this crease on the inside of your nose above your bone at the top of your nose and that if you have snorted pills for so long then you get this crease and they can still tell if its from before you was in the program or not because he said as soon as you stop it will start to heal and i can get kicked out of this program i know i would go back to drugs and this program has really saved my life i went from being a thief to being my mothers dauther again, from being a drug head to being a trust worthy woman and my little boy looks up to me i dont want him to grow up in that type of life please i dont want pitty or put downs i just need some answers to how long does it take your nose to heal is there anything that can make it heal faster. i have stoped snorting my meds but i fear its to late pleas help me

Real easy fix.......................Start taking them by mouth I mean its not much different than snorting it...I've been on it for 5yrs and snorting it only adds about 15min. to how fast you feel it.....

it will heal.  dont worry until you have to worry, although that is not easy advice to take.  i understand that this is your life line and that you need it to get your addiction under control  
i am quite sure that your nose will be fine.  
The more you worry the more you will need to numb out.  Then you will need to take more of the suboxone.
this is extremely important to you and is quite sad that you are just trying to get answers and you feel that you are being jumped on.  i think that if you reread the post you will see that no one was trying to do that but i can understand why you thought so.
if the doctor calls you on it, then just be honest.  most addiction doctors know that relapse or doing addictive behaviours is part of the process of recovery.  
i do not think that you need to worry at all.

okay so i am getting the feeling that maybe this wasnt the best place to try to get answers from seeing as how instead of trying to help me NOW to get over this and to make my self full off of the addiction part of snorting and yes it is very hard even if you have the will to its still very very difficult and if i would not have snorted the pill at all i would not have been in this hard spot but before i even went in to the program i started buying the subxone off the street for about 4 months before i got in the program so i kinda started having the problem of snorting it before i was in the program. but i am trying to do right. and yes you can get high off the subxone if you take more than your suppose to i never said that you could not but i am on 3 a day and when i WAS snorting them i would do a half at a time and about 3 times a day on very bad days i would do more and thats about 1 and half no more than 2 but now that i am taking them now i have to take all 3 of them so maybe it was more in my head or what ever but it just seemed to take less when i WAS snorting them  cause now i have to take more but to all the people that think this program is just a joke or is just a cheaper drug (which isnt really it cost me 200$ every 2 weeks for just the vist plus the drug test and liver test and for woman pregent test im not for sure how much that is but then to fill you medican for 2 weeks supply at 3 a day is 370 something odd dollars so it cost around 6 to 8 hundered dollars ever to weeks so no its not that much cheapper its just that the benifits off getting trust and respect and being off the everyday looking for drugs make it all worth while. but please keep this post going i have been called in yet and its now friday and i have to go back to the doctor monday for my appointment i am not sure if he will do the test then or not but its been almost 2 weeks since i done it last i just hope i dont lose my program thanks for all the people who have gave me good advice and helped me out i would love hear others thoughts so keep posting and ill keep you updated thanks again to everyone

Ur nose will heal fairly  if u have nit and doc...convenientot damged it too badly...have u had any nose blleds?    do u hear a whistling noise ..can U?  I ask because snorting is advanced addictive behavior and "just stopping" sounds easy,,,,not in reality
sub doesnt work miracles as it was advetised to do..it can help a person who wants badly to be clean and willing to do the work they need to do.......it will not help people who snort it etc,,,u are afraid of going back to drug abuse?  u r abusing sub now?  I am sure sub is cheaper perhaps//depending on ur habit...more convenient..and many actually believe they r not on a narcotic???
Suboxone//subutex are quickly becoming on the list as one of the top abused narcotic on the market..it is not surprising they r checking on it as it sposed to be used to get clean..not abused to get high...and it is BS that u cant get high on sub///cos u can//most pill poopers can get a good buzz from sub
Working ur recovery program will keep u strong...the sub can help the wds and cravings while u get ok iniside....
ur nose will heal fast...dont snort as it will re-open any irritated areas

i have been doing oxys  for about 2 months straight now. i have been an avid coke user in the past, i love white gurl and nose candies. me n my bf have been tryn to quite 80's hes in the sub clinic so were all good. BUT i do have this strange line on my nose on the outside that i have noticed in the past month becoming more and more noticable.... what do i do?

Hey, I just started the suboxone program 2 weeks ago tommorrow and I agree with you it was a life saver.  I was bad and lost everyones trust that I cared about and almost ruined my life until I started suboxone.  It changed my life and I earning back my trust.  I agree I feel like half my addiction was just the feeling of snorting something, I mean I loved the feeling but the feeling snortin an oxy was awesome to me.  Now I have not snorted any of my suboxone and I won't, because I'm trying to break my old habits one at a time.  But I know what you mean about that aspect of it.  I wouldn't worry too much about the doc just stop snorting and stay strong, because its not worth losing your privalage of this drug.  I know I won't do anything to ruin mine, simply because this has changed my life and kept things under control so just try to think of it that way.  Good Luck and stay strong.

thanks for all the info please keep this post going i really would like to hear other peoples thoughts about that fact if people snorting pills get creases in there nose and if so how long will it take to heal thanks again to everyone

Good for you getting your life in order for yourself and your family.You have been able to cut your snorting to once every 5 days and you have to be more determined and cut it out entirely.Snorting drugs is still an addiction and for the program to work properly you have to stop all addictive behaviours.
If you like the feeling of stuff in your noise try saline spray instead of the pills and maybe you can break your habit this way.

this is the reason i came here cause i couldnt talk to anyone eles about this becaise i knew what they would say and act much like you said but alot worse and alot harsher and my doctor would turn me away as i said i dont snort to get high or to feel it faster or anything like that i just missed the taste and i had to lower my self because stoping altogether wasnt working for me so i went from doing it every day 3 or more times a day to doing it once a day to once every other day and then every few days and now its been almost 5 days. and the program does work and is working i would most likely be dead if my mother and brother didnt get me in this program i was a very heavy everyday several times a day user and i would do ANYTHING i could get a hold of and do anything to get it but then i relized what i became and did not want my son now 2 to grow up in that type of life. but it hard to talk because i have so much to lose and all it will take is me saying the wrong thing and i would be back on drug if i lost this program i cant handle the withdraws and my day to day life together its to much for me and with noone to help it kinda hard. Thank you so very much for your reply you have put me at easy a little but please every keep it comeing with the replys i would like to see more thoughts on this thank to everyone

i would not stress myself out over this. Stop snorting the pills all together and you are gonas be fine--he is not gona know if you snorted a week ago or a month ago----however he will know if you snort that day. just stop snorting them or quit takin them cause if you are still feeling the need to snort your "maintness"(misspelled but you know) drug then you need to regroup all together and change your plans, cause it aint workin

I have no idea. I do know that people with nose problems from cocaine use never heal. I doubt it would heal in a year, let alone a month.
