When my wife went through this, the only thing that helped ease an attack was acupuncture. She finally had to have it removed. When they did they opened it up. There were no big stones but so many little ones it looked like a gum ball machine. These little ones don't show up on tests. Also for others benefits, these attacks look and feel like your going to die. Excruciating pain. I am praying for you. I do not envy your position.

One more thing. I'm proud of you for the way you are dealing with the pain meds. Even being clean that would be very difficult for me! So proud of you for that!

My wife had to have her gall bladder removed 10 years ago or so. I think it was due to gall stones and it caused her severe heartburn. Are you having any heartburn at all? I could ask her some questions about it if you have any. Best of luck to you and hope all goes well!

You take care. This doesn't sound like a fun experience at all. Are you having gall bladder attacks? They are awful.
