I took requip for about five years - worked, no problem.  Then about 4 months ago, I started getting, out of the blue and for no obvious reason, anorexia, nausea, and finally light stomach ache.  After a lot of investigative stuff, including an EGD, my gastroenterologist discovered the cause: I had become allergic to requip.  Just a note of caution.

I don't know anything about Requip,except what it's prescribed for.My best advice to you would be to either call your doctor or even a pharmacy and ask them.Best of luck...Peace...Kim
