energy drinks

Hello everyone,
Im gonna keep it short. I was drinking all kinds of energy drinks, from concentrated shots to the huge cans. Well, i was drinking about 6 to 8 servings for about 2 years on a daily basis. On the weekends i would drink a little coffee and get a strong migrane. One morning i had a strange pain on my kidney side and quit drinking the stuff cold turkey. Later that day i was sweating, i was extremely tired and confused. The next day i had sore muscles and cold sweats. This all went away completely after a month. But my muscles and tendons (i think tendons) are still randomly aching and stabing. Has this altered my body for ever?

Yes I would tell the Dr. These drinks are getting a bad name now..People are ending up in the hospital because of them..AND if you mix with meds that is a real big danger zone..Maybe 1 here and there but 6-8 a day I would be so jittery and flying on the moon with anxiety..Do some research on these drinks..They are not that good for you at all..I wish you the best.
Bless

Hi and welcome! I don't have any personal experience with drinking and quitting energy drinks and I would suggest going to your doctor and picking his brain and getting checked out. Good for you for quitting them though and glad you're feeling better. Sometimes when we remove a habitually consumed substance from our body it takes a while for the body to recover, so it's either still recovering or you're just getting old (haha, kidding;p). Seriously, go see your doctor for some peace of mind.
