Got a ride to Dr's so w/d scheduled ....Thomas recipe Any help

okay I startd the withdraw off the morphine Sat...was doing well until this morning, when I was feeling badly and realized how do I drive myself to my doctors as he is 2 hours away....rural NS...!!!  I put out a call for help, someone who would be willing to give up a day to drive me and hang around the whole day and then back....I have it all arranged....whew.....so now I can plan properly.....Any suggestions to make the w/d easier to take....Emil y suggested loading up on movies, easy reads, the Thomas Recipe....what is that?  I have tomorrow to get everythign ready so i will have to buy what I need tomorrow....Tues mornign I start the withdraw and Thursday I start the Suboxone....at last...I've waited a long time for this....being Canadain it has just been approved for 2 mnths....but it's ehre, and I have a aride so I will sleep well tonight....

Hi Mike

no don't mind answering, I'm here for help......I'm taking 200mg of mscontin a day...1 100 in the morning and 1 100 in the afternoon.....it's a 12 hr time release......morphine sulphate.

I'm seeing my doctor 10:30 Thursday morning.....he says 48 hours from my last dose.  When do you think I should take my last dose?  Can I take Tuesday mornings?  

I have two friends driving me so all is worked out....I just havd to do my part....

What were your doses and how long have you been on Morphine if you don't mind answering that??

you will find the thomas recioe in the health pages to your right.  it has lots of vitamins annd aminos and tips for withdrawals.  good luck and hang int there.  i hope oyu have some counselling or some kinda aftercare lined up.
