first time post glad i found the site

Hello all. I see all of the questions on here and I feel like mime is so unimportant, but here it goes. I have struggled for the last 5 years on and off vicodin, tramadol, oxy, anything I can get my hands on. I took my last tram after only 6 days of 6-8 a day. Last night I got very sick. I threw up all of the nasty stuff. I didn't know if it was ice cream I ate, the stomach flu, or the tramadol. I forgot to mention I took loperamide in heavy doses to get off the first time. I was still trying to wean myself off that ,when I started the trams. Whatever it was, it was enough to scare me, so I quit the trams and had only one last night around 6. I guess my long question is, will I haven't withdrawal again after being a month clean. I have been taking the loperamide for about 4 months and I am having trouble getting off it. I stayed home from work because I thought I had the flu, it was horrible. I know its hard to say what happened, I just don't want to go through withdrawal again. Please help. Help too to get off loperamide l.

One more note - there have been older posts on this site from others who had difficulty withdrawing from the loperamide.  You may want to read those. Are you suffering from constipation, btw?  You really may need to have some medical help, since
long-term constipation can cause problems that you need help with.
Hopefully if someone has had issues, they will also post their experience
for you.

sorry it is taking a while for an answer.  Can you explain how many loperamide a day you were taking?  Loperamide is an opioid receptor agonist, and you were taking it for a long time, so it very well could be the cause of your nausea. How are you feeling now, btw?
I just googled to look at this - I didn't see specific answers about getting off
loperamide.  Have you considered tapering?  If I see anything else, will post what there is.
