get off methadone

so...what is the best way to wing yourself off methadone after using for only 90 days? obviously cutting the dose down very slowly and takin vitamins but what else can i do????? the baby is going to be gettin morphine. i wonder if i could be hospitalied and do the same treatment? morphine isnt physically addicting

HI ........they will ween yuor baby off using a variety of narcotics  as for morphine it is highly addictive....... leave this up to the doctors and ween yourself off the methadone good luck with the baby and God bless......Gnarly

I don't follow this at all. The baby is getting morphine? Why?! Are you joking? (I hope you're joking). The baby will be born addicted. If you're on methadone and pregnant it's highly unadvised that you detox at this point. talk to your clinic and stay on the recommended dosage till after the baby is born. The child will then be monitored and weened while in the hospital (it takes about 2 weeks). You'll taper afterwards typically.
