I use valarian root for sleep, it helps me. I seen someone talking about melatonin again,saying it helped a bunch for sleep.
Congrats on the ten days, I know how rough it is but it will get better. Kim is right, 4 to 5 hours is considered pretty darn good at this point so count yourself lucky.
You can try an OTC sleeping aid like Tylenol PM. they work pretty well for me and also often taking a hot bath before bed will relax you as well. Keep hanging in there and soon you will be back to your old self.

stay away from the methadone, believe me its much worse to kick.
If your only 10 days on it, then start getting off it now, before it really gets a grip on you.......

First congrats on 10 days!!!! I know that 4 to 5 hours of sleep a night is rough but to be honest,being 10 days out,4 to 5 hours a night is actually pretty good.It took me about 3 weeks being off of it before I got 5 consecutive hours of sleep.I was on it for almost 2 years and jumped off at 25 mgs.Theeagle gave you some good advice.Also,and I know it's hard,exercise is one of your best weapons to fight this.You will have to force yourself.I remember those days well,but once you get up and get going it gets easier and once you are done you will feel so much better.Even just a walk around the neighborhood or small chores around the house.Set your mind to it and just force your body to get up and get going.Hang in there,like theeagle said,methadone takes a bit to get past,but you are well on your way.All the best....Kim
Forgot - - benadryl (diphenhydramine) is pretty god for sleep and is OTC.....
How much did ya do and for how long? Methadone takes awhile to get past. Possibly longer than any other narc. The amino L-Tyrosine helped me with energy and fatigue.....500-1500mg before breakfast on empty stomach.........
