help question nervous

i get codiene for migraines i was addicted and have been clean from hydros about 1 month if i take codiene will phyisical withdrwal come back if i use for migraine just once please honest awnser please i know the chances of getting re addicted

codeine doesn't really take away migraines....it may MASK the symptoms/pain briefly....sometimes doesn't even do that....but it usually makes them worse....i had been a migraine sufferer for 20 years....there are very specific migraine meds out there if you have TRUE migraines (imitrex, relpax, all that kinda stuff)....i got started on the hydros due to chronic daily tension headaches but never really used the hydros for my migraines....only used the prescribed migraine med....just don't try to convince yourself that the codeine/hydros are working to take away your migraines....cuz they really aren't....that's what all the imitrex, etc. is for and it works soooooooo much better!

I use the Imitrex nasal spray and it gets rid of my headaches with no euphoria or narcotic "haze".  I agree, I would try to get something that is non-narcotic

I would look into migraine meds they are non narcotic . narcotics are not known to get rid of migraines
