P.S. -
I did cold turkey because I could not taper; if there were pills I'd take as many as needed to get the rush. I had to flush the remainder of my pills. About three days in hell; tomorrow will be 30 days and I feel great. Still not sleeping perfect, but considering, that's nothing. It is a joy to have my life back.

Even if you taper, you'll still experience withdrawal symptoms. Maybe a little less, but they will happen. Tapering is a little better for your body, but prolongs the withdrawal; and it takes someone with a spine to be able to take less and less. Cold turkey will kick your butt for about three or four days, but then you start to get better every day afterwards.
That's a general observation - everyone's different. But no matter, stopping the meds is an excellent decision. Keep posting.
