I was wondering if there are any medications I am able to take, especially for restless leg syndrome, while tapering off methadone to help ease the withdrawal symptoms?

Take a look at the Thomas Recipe at the bottom of the page. Folic acid, Vit B, Magnesium, and Iron are also good suppliments to take. There are other things as well but you stand a chance of becoming addicted to the medications prescribed by a doctor. Hoe slow of a taper are you on? Sometimes the taper is just a way of prolonging the misery. Depending on how high your dose was it maybe best for you in the long run to bite the bullet and quit. I've detoxed 5 times from methadone and each time was different because of where I was in my life at that time.
