I have to say I agree with everyone else, give back the cigarettes but hold out on everything else. you as a parent need to check into Alcon Anomomous for your self. That will help you alot. Also remember this is not your fault and this is her addiction not yours..those were the two hardest things for me to remember when I went through this with my son. be strong, pm me anytime
be a positive support for her and try not to let her feel you are against her. i'm on day 7 and i've been smoking like a chimney but its the best thing i got to relieve some tension. just give her the cigs.
I would give her the cigs,, I wouldn't even want to imagine someone taking my cigs during this fight,, she needs some sort of stress relief...

Gosh, the cigs too!!!!!!!!!!! That would be tough for me during withdrawl. but I didn't raise a daughter, just three boys!!
I know you are doing what you can to try to help her, chances are she will not like it if she does not want to quit. It will be hard for her, withdrawl is tough. She needs to want to quit to STAY CLEAN. That's just my thoughts tho.
Get the Thomas recipe, she will need Imodium for the diareah, otc pain meds, fluids, good food, something to do to help keep her mind occupied. My dr. prescribed a small amt. of clonidine(blood-pressure med) it helped keep me stable, or "in my skin" during withdrawl, a small amt. of tranzene once or twice a day. helps with the nerves. Never let her know where they are either.
Post here if you have any more questions, do you have a dr. on call that you could get the clonidine from?
Wishing you best of luck with this

I would let her keep her cigs.........those won't get her into too much trouble.
I think it's hard enough stopping her drug of choice......so have a heart.....lol
Good luck!
