heroin detox?

I was hoping to get some answers on a way to detox myself without any insurance or money but its obvious im gonna have to get the money together for suboxone and go see a doctor which I already knew I was just hoping just maybe I could get something new but I didn't besides on this site every one addicted to pills which is Where I started pills and syrup but never had to detox or wd until heroin.well I guess with that said im just gonna go c a doctor and detox.

Hi I detoxed off of heroin with no suboxone or methadone.I used neurontin and a very low dose benzo for the first few days after that my detox was the same or less strenuous as detoxing from oxy.

Hey Chris and welcome. I am a heroin addict and am now on suboxone and it saved my life. Yes suboxone WD is worst then heroin BUT if u do a very long slow taper u will have little to no WD symptoms. If u ever want to talk about anything please PM me and we can talk. A lot of ppl don't agree with suboxone but in reality u can't taper from heroin like u could if u were on pills. Suboxone was the best thing I did for myself. How much H were u using a day? Were u an iv user? How long were u using? Sry for the questions but it will help us help u! U can do this. Suboxone withdrawal is just as bad as opiate withdrawal and like hope4good said make some calls there are usually plenty of free clinic type places you can register for you just have to find the right one because sometimes they're full and have to wait for a bed to open up,good luck.

Make some phone calls to state rehab facilities which are usually free. Also some rehab facilities charge on a sliding scale based on your income. If you are set on trying suboxone to quit, I don't know much about that. Just be careful because I have heard some horror stories about it. Good luck to you.
