3 Weeks!! So worth the wait!!

WOW!!  3 weeks.  It seems like yesterday I was suffering.  :-)
Thanks everyone for the support and help.
Anyone reading this going through the early he11 of wd's.  Keep pushing!  It is so worth the fight.  A fight you deserve to win!  I feel wonderful.  I know there will be tough days ahead but I am positive I can get through them.  
Yes I am getting some aftercare too.  It is helping.  I have let close friends and family know as well which has been a HUGE help having their love and support.  
I have to sound cheesy here and thank GOD.  God saved me and my marriage.  God Bless everyone on this site as well.

Congrats.....I am almost at a month myself and you are right.....People just need to give it time.  I feel soooo much better!  I think it is important to really work on exercise and healthy living to keep our bodies on the right track towards a healthy life style....Congrats on the clean time!

Hey congrats on 3 weeks clean....emerge your self in to recovery care it will help you out more then you know your at the stage where the mind games start and your going to need it

CONGRATS, three weeks,
I am 24 days and it feels great today. I know we still have some bad days a head and that we just have to remember today and how good we feel about ourselves. keep on keeping on.  prayers to you!

A big congrats on a job well done. That is great. Keep on keeping on. Cheesy not at all you go on and thank GOD. There are many people on here who acknowledge that the LORD has helped them and has healed their family. If getting clean could be accomplished so easy on your own strength,  then  I don't think there would be so many addicts as there are. You become powerless to overcome the addiction that is when you have to admit that you need help and the LORD GOD is ready,willing and more than able to help you overcome. My marriage and my family are being restored day by day after enduring my husbands 14 yr.love affair with methadone ,beer & pills.keep up your guard, go to support groups,exercise,pray,go to church,get counseling. Keep on fighting the good fight.

I'm really happy for you and everyone who can get to the other side of this addiction. It's lifelong(the recovery) so I'm glad you have all that support. You'll need to draw on that many times in the future.  Dealing with life on it's own terms can be difficult but not impossible. We tend to make much better decisions with clear heads!
