how soon to take suboxxone

my boyfriend was on suboxxone for 3 months to stay off heroin. When i went back to fl. to pack up my house he stopped taking it and was back on heroin in 4 days. he has been doing about 5 bags a day for 5 weeks. He did his ithdrawls?last bag about 16 hours ago. how soon can we start the suboxxone? and what can i give him to help with the wa

wow I have to say the same plz have him contact his doctor .I would not want to see him go into precipitated withdrawals.

aftercare is so important.....suboxone will not stop someone from relapsing after they stop it.....change in behaviors and aftercare is a must to stay clean

Suboxone should be started once the WD's are in full effect.  If the suboxone is started while he is still using heroin it will actually PUT him into withdrawals.

Please consult a doctor on this.
