I made it thru the first day. Busy day working too. but i jumped on this site a few times to read posts and that was really inspiring. You guys are very helpful, thanks!!
My mind is good, i have no craving at this time and am in good spirits with the slight exception of a couple irritated moments with people throughout my day. But my body feels like it is cracking into pieces. Used some ibpropen and that seemed to help. Took my activan a bit a go and am sleepy now. looking forward to the hot shower.
thanks again, this site is really helping me stay focused on what i want.
I agree with the above comment on not feeling the withdrawals while exercising. I throw in the headphones with some music that motivates me and go for a jog or walk. While doing this I am in my own little happy world. Plus, I feel so much better during and after the run. Trust us on this one. If you are going to take any of the advice this would rank number one on my list!
I've only been off a few days, but excercise and sweating helps. I don't feel withdrawals while I am sweating and excercising. Plus, I feel I am flushing my body. And drink lots of water. hot baths...sauna is great.
You are in the right forum for help with what you are going through. The people on here are so caring and helpful. This forum has been a Godsend for me and many others! Check out the amino acid protocol in the health pages. The vitamins help our bodies get back on track. They do help with energy. I didn't start taking them until I stopped the vicodin. Like said above, go for walks or jogs. It may seem impossible but helps so much! Drink plenty of water and eat as healthy as you can. Just stay mentally strong and always remind yourself it will get better. And it will with each day. Best of luck! We are here for you!
i appreciate the quick response. Did you utilize the L-tyrosine before the first four days?
Congrats on the 57 days!
How long did it take you to feel close to normal?

Utilize the Thomas Receipe... (with or without the use of benzo;s... I did it WITHOUT and I have 57 days CLEAN)
The L-tyrosine DID help me with re-establishing my FRIED nero-transmitters and gave me a little added energy... something you will need if you need to go to work...
Push fluids..
try to eat lite healthy meals
and if you can muster up the energy to go out for a long brisk walk.. that will help to kick in your NATURAL ENDORPHINS...
Hang in there sweet pea... and post often as this site is a LIFE SAVER to many!
