i cant make it past 16 days morphine free
I can't take the pain I know yas said I ain't superwoman and I know that I just wanna not take pills to be able to fuction but the pain is unbearable spoke to dr yesterday surg mid feb can't wait I feel like a failure I don't waont my friends I've made here to think little of me that's why I ain't been posting I'm a mess I hate myself and everything I do

Oh Ozzie,,,You are NOT a failure. You also dont have to suffer,,,or be miserable in pain. I feel that for some,,,Its OK to take the pain medications as directed as needed for serious pain issues. Its not like you plan on taking them forever right? Yes,,you may have some withdrawal stopping them again but the the point is you wanna stop them. Thats what matters. After your surgery and you get fixed up then worry about tapering off them. Now maybe just isnt the right time. You have legit pain issues and you shouldnt be miserable or in agony. That will eventually take a toll on you as well. You already know you are an addict,,so maybe some help from your partner or the chemist can help you take them responsibly. Is there a "lighter" narcotic pain med that you can try? I know an opiate is an opiate is an opitate but maybe something other than your drug of choice. I love ya girl~Bkitty
I have chronic pain, it will never go away, but after coming off the oxy's I thought I would just die. The pain was 10 times worse, but now, I feel so good. My pasin will always be with me, but Im doing things to help it. Juicing, chiropractor, Novi juice, vitamins, awlays organic veggies and fruits, mostly vegetarian diet, if meat, cheicken with no antibiotics or hormones. Everyone's different, but a month ago, I thought it was all over for me. Eat well, drink well, and keep postive. Never ever beat yourself up, we all take the pills for one reason or another, for me it's pain, for others, addiction, but we are all human, we all do what ever we need to do to learn in life.

I am sorry to hear you are still suffering....I know how hard you've been fighting with this. Just know that there is no judgement here...What surgery are you having and when? Don't beat yourself up. no one will think you are a failure...everyone is supportive here and can help you through this..
what is the surgery for? I too have alot of health issues and found pain intolerable. Took many weeks for the brain to kinda control the pain. Now, more manageable, and im on day 61 clean from oxy's. Only became more tolerable about 2 weeks ago.
