i need help

Please help me the love of my life is a ex heroin addict we have been together 4 years now and in that time to my knolage she has only used a maximum of 12 times.any way to try and cut a long story short she has been on the meathadone program about 13 years now and in the last 6 months has reduced her dose to 3 mg and now she has completely jumped off the dome. (this 9 days ago) her doctor subscribed her vallium, sarapax and  blood presure tablets. has been doing realy well untill yesterday (im so proud of her) now she has ran out of the vallium and sarapax she is contiplateing suicide.we organised for her to go and see a counseler today and the counsler told her that if she dont have 24/7 support she will have her commited to to a mental hospital the problem is at this moment we live away from family and have no friends and sopport were we are.i have to work 6 to 8 hours a day to support us we also have 2 children i dont know what to do as there is no way to get the kids looked after and if  i dont work we will be screwed and i dont want the athoritys to take our kids that will set her back even more please help us i love this girl more than enything how long will these thourgts and the withdrawels go for. even if i do quit work and she go's into hospital i dont know how to explaine to the children whats going on i know for a fact she will never hert the kids my main concern is her im one very worried and stressed person at the moment i dont want to lose my soulmate our children or our house please please help and give me some advice

I remember when my husband was withdrawing CT from hydrocodone and methadone at the same time he got very depressed and suicidal.  Cared about nothing and no one.  He thought no one cared about him or wanted to help him.  They are COMPLETELY different people at these times.  Just remember that okay.  Keep posting here, more people will respond with other advice :)

This is serious.  Why can't she get another prescription for the meds she was on and then try to taper down off of them?  I know this is hard for you, especially with the kids in the picture.  If you can try to find someone to take care of them, maybe even put them in daycare.  Or find a babysitter in the area that will work for what you can afford.  I would try to get her back on those meds and then taper.  How much was she taking of the Valium and Serepax? From what I know Serepax in and of itself is very addictive.  Let us know how she is doing okay?  Try to stay calm and not freak out because it won't help her or you.  I don't think she needs to go to a mental hospital though.  I think she needs to try to taper and see how that works.
