i need to know?

Hi all I was just wondering if it was safe for me to take citalopram. And valuim to help me withdraw the valuim is not from a dr I could not get in as My dr is out of town and I do not know the dr taking his place so I don't want to talk to him about all of the stuff going on in my life! sorry for the miss spelled words

We can't really advise you...sorry...Here's what you do: Just Google "citalopram" and read the info about it. Pay close attention to it's use with CNS depressants. You'll get an answer...

I have been on citalopram for a year and a half I got the valium to help with draw off the pain pills hydrocodone and. Oxycodone I'm just not sure if they are safe together??

citalopram is an antidepressant so that will not help with WD at all.  are you WD from valium?  if that is the case I would go to ER to get enough to hold you over until you can go into to see your doctor.  Benzo WD can be awful and dangerous at certain times.  best of luck.

Do not start the citalopram if you can. You need to wait for your regular Dr. I was on that and that is a drug you have to taper off. It did not really help me that much but each person is different. Also the Valium is also very addictive but if you do take it split it in half because you may feel out of place the next day (like your not already). I took an herb called melatonin to help me to sleep.  I hope this helps a little! Good luck! Praying for you!
