Vicodin and Tramadol

So, during the past year I have been taking Vicodin 5/500mg once or twice daily, some days none, just for my migraines, I never got high. I also used Tramadol 50mg for the sme purpose and for back pain, for almost two years, this one twice a day almost every day. Since I started to wean off my Xanax addiction I quit taking the Vicodin and Tramadol, except for 1 day had bad migraine and none Imitrex pills, my insurance only covers 9 pills and paying them is more than 200 dollars. The point is that I do not feel side effects or W/D effects from quitting the Vicodin and Tramadol. It this possible? I didn't even knew Tramadol was an opiate until I joined this community.

the dose just was not enuf or the narcs just do not hit ur pleasure button..be thankful and let them go before they do...i did narcs after surgeries years ago and did not like them at all...then one day they clicked...it was like WOW...what a bumber had i only known...forinstance xanax does nothing for me and not something i would be inclined to abuse...nor tramadol...we all have different pleasure buttons and brain chemistries

It would also be explained because of your Xanax dose. Xanax helped with w/d.
Keep at it, slow and easy on the Xanax. You're doing great.

Yes, I think that is the answer. I wasn't taking large doses of any of those two. But the Xanax is another story, up to 10mg a day, now I'm tapering 1mg every two weeks, currently initiating my second week at 7mg dose, so far anxiety-not much-migraines , hands shaking ,rapid heartbeat and muscle cramps in my neck, shoulders or upper back, not much of a bad withdrawal, I really don't know, this is my first W/d experience.

Bob, at that dose and frequency, it is quite possible to just walk away from them. I hope so.

Hey your dose is really small I took 16  50mg trammys a day and most of the time 10-15 vics a day I am really feeling it I'm glad you got out of it easy good luck to you.
