is it possible to get hi off ativan

I know they can be addictive but can they get you high? Just wander about a friend of mine she takes 5Mg and she acts so different I think they get her hi. Input???

I take ativan and I don't feel anything but sane when I take it.  No high at all, but i guess if you took enough of it you would have a good sleep.  i took xanax and it just knocked me out.  Ativan doesn't do that to me at all.  5mg !!  holy cr ap  if I took that I'd be face down butt up on the ground.  She either has a heck of a tolerance or are you sure it's ativan?

I took ativan years ago for anxiety, but they actually made me hallucinate( the walls and floors looked like they were BREATHING) , I couldn't function well at all, I didn't have any problems with discontinuation, although I don't remember the dosage

If you take to much Ativan it will give you (as my friends say) a bad case of the FU"S.

it is a benzo like xanax and valium...yes..they can make you high...more like relaxed....I guess if you took a bunch it would be classified as high....  .5 mg is a prescribed dose tho...not 5 mg?

my brother takes them and they make him calm. Now i am sure if you take enough of them you would. is it a scheduled med?

I am not sure about ativan, I take xanax for anxiety and it does not get me high. I dont take 5 mg, though. Maybe the dosage is different for the different meds? I know there are a lot of people who do get addicted to xanax, it just never got me high so I guess I got lucky?
I'm sure someone with experience with ativan will be around soon. We have almost every drug represented here in our group, lol.
