hello all, thanks for all of your concerns. I was able to have him removed temporarily from the home, I have to go to court on Thur. I currently have an order of protection against him. I will keep in touch.

I am sorry you are going thru this, but am glad to see you are taking the steps to keep you and your children safe..i got out of an absuive (mostly verbal and emotionally)marriage and i hate to see little children taking the blame for adults who like  to bully them. My son called me the other night from his DAd's and he was crying and kept told me his dad was being mean to him and he kept saying"i love you mom'...i felt so bad for him...I remember that walking on eggshells...

How horrible - do you have any family you can turn to - by all means, don't hesitate if you feel you or the children are in danger. Run, don't walk. Maybe you could just separate and not worry about the divorce? Not sure where you are - but there's lots of documents online that you can print off - I got a book at Grand and Toy that was basically a do it yourself divorce (of course it depends on if it's contested and if there's custody issues). Best of luck - my heart goes out to you. See if you can afford a mediator or paralegal even (but pick carefully - they aren't regulated and some are pretty shady).

thank you so much. I am in the moment of it as we chat. I am on my way to Family court to see if they can help me, I believe he is violent and I dont want to wait for it to happen. I can see it in his eyes. If you dont hear from me in a day that means that I found shelter for my kids and I. not sure if I will have access to internet, God Bless u.

You do realize that regardless of any valid excuse - You have to get out...I promise you that I know all too well how difficult your situation is...and it will take the help of friends and family...but you CAN do this...for you and for your children.
Based just on what you have said...I feel he is violent...am I correct?  That first step out is the hardest...each one gets easier.

My heart is heavy today. I am living with an addict and I am afraid for my kids. I just buried my first cousin yesterday and my husband trew a titty fit because I was going to be with my family instead of staying home with him because it was his day off from work. I just returned home yesterday to find that he has been taking it out on the kids. My son told me that he kept yelling at them for no reason and my 2yr old started crying cause he was yelling so loudly and he spanked her and made her go to bed. I just want out. I have told this to my husband but he refuses to leave. I dont want to disrupt the kids school by going into a shelter, we have moved around sooo much, and I dont know what to do, I cant just change the locks because it is illegal to do so, we are legally married. I cant afford a divorce, I am not working, I feel like he has the addiction but I am losing everything.

that makes sense. I cannot tell you the arguments that statement has caused me. (the doctor's) He surely said that I would get alot of bacterial infections and urinary, yeast..etc.

Probably because the doctor has an atitude about people that use drugs. That they all must be dirty, scum of the earth, dieseased type of thing. Some people think that way, doctors and all.
