lortab

How long do the withdrawals of lortab last?  I have been off of them since August 2008.   I can't seem to get to feeling any kind of energy back, and I seem to catch every virus that comes my way.

I am having issues finding pleasure in things.  Everything seems to be sheer drudgery.  It's an effort to do anything. I am so physically exhausted and before I had tons and tons of energy.

The stress of this week alone with all the things going on in addition to detox have worn me out and I just feel so so so so tired and I think I am getting a cold sore.  I started detox with a sinus infection and just can't seem to get any energy back.  I feel like a mack truck ran over me.

It's not easy to hear that the same thing is going on at one month.  I remember doing this before and I don't remember feeling so weak.   Maybe I forgot but this time just getting out of the car is a chore.

If you quit in August...just like I did...we should be around the same day. I quit c/t from 18-20 hydro's a day...and I am on Day 28..

I posted the same question as you..."How long before our TRUE JOY, and ENERGY comes back into play...without any drugs..."

I can relate exactly to what your talking about...as well as many others in here. I have heard from most...that around 90 days...all the true and natural joy and energy really starts to come in.....with having a drug free life !!!

During my 2-3 weeks was my point in wondering why I just felt like "blah" and " how come I wasnt finding any joy in watching movies...etc"

Now on Day 28 for me, I have noticed...that my energy and joy is already coming back to me. Work is getting easier, and I am finding joy in normal things...and I laugh alot more now.

So, I would just keep going...you already passed the hardest....and should be on or coming up on 1 month.....Our bodies did depend on hydros...for energy and just to functions....so now we have to let our bodies heal...naturally without drugs. To me..it is already far better now....than when I needed then just to function.....and now I dont !

Your energy and joy will come back...everyone is different. Like I said, I heard around 90 days is the usual.....but I have already been experincing life alot more energitic and joyfully than my first 1-3 weeks....and seems to get better with each day...I still dont have it all 100% back my any means....but I am getting alot of the natural energy and joy....as my body keeps healing each day.

BTW:  You can check out the "Health Pages" or click on the "Thomas Recipe" on the right side of this forum....I know there are amino acids that will lift your mood and energy levels...naturally with vitamans and amino acids, 5-htp, b-complex etc...you might find very helpful.

Keep fighting the goog fight....your life is coming back to you, day by day...and you will have it...to it's fullest !!

God Bless,
Todd

Energy is one of the last thing to come back. Take a look at the amino acid protocol in the Health Pages found top right of page. Exercise will speed up the process so much. Be sure to take lots of vitamin C too. It takes time.
