Thank you for reading my post, I will try to make this post brief, try :). I have been coming off methadone for about a year now from 120mg. I was doing pretty good until August. I was down to 35 mg. and started to have a lot of back/buttocks pain. I had surgery in Dec. for ovarian cyst removal and adhesion removal. Was down for about 3 weeks. But made it up to the clininc every wed. to get my take homes. Things have taken a terrible turn for the worse. The pain has become extreme with leg weakness, weight loss, and for the past 4 weeks haven't been able to have a bm. without taking something. Some people including myself think it might be some kind of intenstinal blockage, but why i am having that and this pain, also makes me think i have a trapped nerve in my pelvis as i had the not so good idea to buy a dirtbike this year and I thought the problems began after that. the pain is so extreme like a weird tingling but not a good tingling it really hurts and makes it hard to walk. my question is the dr. prescribed lyrica for me and yesterday when i took it, i was feeling pretty weird and didn't really have the feeling of needing to take my methadone (35mg.), but i took it. Today i thought i might try not to take it. has anyone ever heard of lyrica for methadone withdrawel. it is very expensive at 300.00 a month, but i pay 420.00 month for the clininc. if anyone has heard is lyrica addciting? if i come off lyrica after my problems are solved, will i go into methadone withdrawels?
