methadone,xanax,and lamictail??

ive been on methadone,xanax   since 2004...methadone  is for sevre cronic pain from pain mangement..the xanax started with gpdoc now with pdoc..its for sevre panic...was on klonpin 11 yrs prior to xanax..  but just methadone and xanax since 04...i know about the mix or my combo vey well  on very low doses of each..the xanax 0.5  5aday..methadone  10 mgs aday..was at 1 time  160 mgs i detoxed at home 2 yrs ago..got away from it 45 days then back at the dose im at..now the questshion??

my shrink has added lamictail  to my combo,,i asked him if it would had any further respatory depression..he just kinda nodded his head..wating oin his  nest 8 min patient..

is there anyone  on the board  thats been on physic  meds with this mix???   lamictail  is a anticonvulsant  med..ive researched  everywere!!theres nothing online about anything on these 3 together..oh of course  there a ton of stuff on the xanax and  methadone.......

i know  just more than myself  that theres others  on this mix......any insight would be great...im calling the manufacture  tomorrow to get there facts if any..( Glaxo smith Kline)     IVE BEEN ON THE 2  TOGETHER  WITH NO PROBLEMS EVEN ON HIGHER DOES OF THE METHADONE,,BUT LOWER XANAX  AT THE TIME 1MG A DAY..ALSO WAS ON 30MG OF MORPHINE FOR BREAK THREW PAIN IMMT RELEASE  AND  100 MGS OF SEROQUEL     THANKS  JAMES

Sorry man. I tried searchin for you but only found other posts by you on other sites lol. Alls I got right now is a quote..."Been on Lamictal 8 years. Good results. No neg.side effects though I did look out for the rash. (Bipolar 1). Taking lots of other stuff, but Lamictal seems to have good results with minimal side effects--but it also takes a long tim to get to a therapeutic dose."--Suzy   I know youve seen alot of stuff like this so i will keep searchin. Is your main worry more respirtory depression? Because if it is, my Physicians Desk Refrence does not list that as a side effect to this drug.

Thanks for posting your concern. I'm not very informative when it comes to the medications that you're speaking of above, but I know that some of the members here should be here shortly to start answering some of your questions.

The one thing I can offer to you in ways of advice with this, is that if your PCP has prescribed all of these medications to you, then you should have no issue in calling his/her office and asking questions if you're really that concerned. Not only that, but if you've established a relationship with PCP this will help as well.
